Banyan Learning Tree - Phnom Penh

Teachers Collage Om ChamnapOm Chamnap, Director BLT, Teacher

Chamnap is married with 2 children and teaches english and computer studies at the Phnom Penh School.

Chamnap is also involved with the Takeo village schools and co-ordinates many of the outreach programs.


We have a NEW TEACHER! Sopheap joined the Phnom Penh School in September 2013.

Sophall ChhengChan Sophall Chheng

In September 2013, Sophall left BLT to return to university.

Sophall joined the Phnom Penh School in December 2012.

Brighter Beginnings - Prokeab

Chan Theary NgethChan Theary Ngeth, Teacher

Theary commenced working at Brighter Beginnings in November 2012.

She is presently teaching 4 classes each day from Basic Beginners to Level 3.

Naroth MeanVan Naroth Mean, Library Monitor

Naroth joined the team at Brighter Beginnings in November 2012.

She manages the library and helps the children with reading and games to improve their english skills.

Happy Gecko - Bakot

Noun PhearomNoun Phearom, Teacher

Phearom Noun, 30 years old, who was born in Kean Svay District, Kandal province. He is an accredited chef and the father of two daughters.

Phearom is our main teacher at Prokeab and Bakot and the BLT-Takeo Sub-Office Director.

Kim Leang TornKim Leang Torn, Teacher

Kim Leang has been teaching at Happy Gecko in akot since September 2012.

He works in the library helping students develop their reading skills.

Outpost School - Toul Sambo

Phon ChamroenPhon Chamroen, Teacher

In April 2013, Chamroen moved to Toul Sambo, and is happily teaching students at Banyan Learning Tree's FIRST Outpost School, located in the heart of the village of Toul Sambo, Sangkat Prey Veng, Khan Dangkor, Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Chamroen joined the Phnom Penh School in April 2012, where he taught english and computer classes at Banyan Learning Tree's main school location. He also drove the school tuk-tuk to the outlying villages to collect students each day.
