Both Banyan Learning Tree Schools and A Mine Free World Foundation would like to THANK EVERYONE who attended the Second Annual Fundraising All-day Bridge Event held September 26, with North American Bridge Masters Barbara Seagram and Patti Lee.
They raised $4,257 for four Banyan Learning Tree Schools in Cambodia!
The event included a bridge seminar by Barbara Seagram (www.barbaraseagram.com), presentation by Patti Lee, a fabulous lunch, silent auction and door prizes galore!
THANK YOU to those below for your generous donations of Prizes and Silent Auction items!
Many thanks to the ladies of the Gravenhurst Seniors Centre for the lunch and to event organizers Linda Harrison and Carolyne Dixon!
Thanks too to all who played and donated toward the cause from Muskoka, Chatham, Huntsville and beyond!
Funds raised will be used to keep these four schools running - teacher's salaries, school supplies, utilities, etc. These schools provide free English, computer and basic sanitation education to impoverished Cambodian children. All the schools also include a library and provide many outreach programs for landmine-affected families.
2014 - 3rd Annual Gravenhurst Seminar Bridge Game:
Patti and Barbara have tentatively set a date for next year's Muskoka Fundraiser on October 2, 2014.
Again, thank you, one and all, for caring enough to be involved in our fundraising efforts and for your enormous generosity. The children of Cambodia thank you also.
