We have to say that Barbara Seagram teaches English just as amazingly as she teaches Bridge!
What a fun-packed day we had at Banyan Learning Tree School!
She arrived at the school in grand style on the school tuk tuk with a bag-full of English lessons and boxes of school supplies including notebooks, pens, rulers, pencil sharpeners, paper, toothpaste and toothbrushes.
After preparing the english lesson, Barbara began to teach a vocabulary lesson, which the student really enjoyed!
During Story Time, Lisa 'jumps' over Barbara, illustrating a point in the story to the children.
Watch Barbara 'teaching' a lesson at two Banyan Learning Tree Schools in the videos below!
In the first lesson, Barbara is shown teaching a class at the 'Brighter Beginnings' School in Prokeab village. Her second lesson was taught at the BLT in Phenom Pehn.
All of these projects happened as a result of all the fundraising done at bridge events in Toronto and Chatham, ON. Bridge players have been extremely generous in support of these ventures.

Patti Lee & Barbara Seagram are committed to sustaining three schools in Cambodia over the next many years.
We have wonderful volunteers on the ground there 6 months of the year, overseeing the spending of every penny.
ALL money raised goes to the Charity. There are NO administrative expenses as the volunteers pay their own
airfare, hotel and meals.
Please help us in our mission. Patti and Barbara will take turns going to Cambodia and Laos each year to oversee our projects and to teach while there.
FYI... Did you know that it costs approximately $10,000.00 a year to sustain these schools and libraries.
