A Duplicate Bridge Game and a Silent Auction, run by Enid Roitman, was held by the Partners Bridge Club in Toronto, ON.
Ninety-six bridge players participated in the fundraiser, making it a HUGE success.
The venue was provided free of charge by Suzanne Kosky and Joel Shapiro, owners of Partners Bridge Club.
Patti Lee was the director for the evening. Anne Volpe and Margot Taylor were volunteers who helped in so many ways and made the event run smoothly. Cheeses & crackers, sweets, and coffee were also served at the event.
The Silent Auction raised $2,431.00 and ALL the prizes were donated!
Both Banyan Learning Tree Schools and A Mine Free World Foundation would like to THANK the WHOLE BRIDGE COMMUNITY of Toronto, surrounding areas and beyond, for their extreme and continuing generosity with their fundraising efforts sustaining the programmes being run at the Bridge Club's Cambodia projects this year and last year! So many children will benefit, as the funds you have all raised will keep the schools going AND growing for years. You should be all very proud!
