3 New Schools Open

Classes Begin at Banyan Learning Tree Banyan Learning Tree School located on the outskirts of Phnom Penh, Cambodia, has now acquired a large tuk tuk vehicle to transport children from outlying villages to attend classes here at the school. Enthusiastic children are shown here attending for the first time - an opportunity for remote village children to learn English, Basic Sanitation and use a library for the first time! Computer lessons are also offered. Banyan Learning Tree is funded through the Canadian Landmine Foundation by Patti Lee, Barbara Seagram and many bridge players in Canada. VIEW VIDEO

First Day of English Classes for rural children The first day of english classes for rural children attending Banyan Learning Tree (BLT) School located on the outskirts of Phnom Penh, Cambodia. BLT has expanded its classes through the acquisition of a large tuk tuk that is bringing in rural children to attend its free Englsh classes. Today is the first day for these chidren. Pauline Johns of A Mine Free World Foundation and Banyan Learning Tree provides pens, rulers and notebooks to the class of new students. Banyan Learning Tree School is funded through the Canadian Landmine Foundation by Barbara Seagram, Patti Lee and their Bridge players from across Ontario, Canada. VIEW VIDEO

Banyan Learing Tree One O'clock class of New Rural Students Off the Banyan Learning Tree Tuk Tuk and into class for the first time for these new rural students! Poor children from five outlying Phnom Penh villages now have the opportunity to attend free English classes at this school located on the outskirts of Phnom Penh. The school is funded by Patti Lee, Barbara Seagram and their Bridge Players from across Ontario, Canada. A Canadian Landmine Foundation project, this school also provides any outreach programs for landmine survivors in several areas in Cambodia. VIEW VIDEO
